LEARN ABOUT ME
AND HOW I APPROACH YOUR WEDDING DAY!
My Story
Hey there! I'm Bryson.
I wasn't always a photographer, much less one that captured weddings.
Honestly, I wish I'd picked it all up sooner. 8 years in and wedding photography has changed my life for the better
I used to be a musician - my degree is even in music business. I spent most of my early adult years playing in different bands and projects.
I picked up photography so I could capture my friends at concerts and shows. I was absolutely enamored and made it my goal to learn as much as I could about this new passion. It wasn't long until one of them got married and asked me to photograph their wedding. I was immediately hooked on shooting weddings, capturing those important moments, and creating mind-blowing images for my couples.
All this came to a head when I was in the midst of planning my own wedding. Rebecca and I were set to get married in April 2020 but, as you can imagine, some things had to get moved around. We ended up having a small ceremony just before all the lockdowns took effect.
Was it wonderful? Yes! Was it what we were planning for? Not exactly...
I know what it's like not to have the wedding photos you want. I know what it's like to miss out on the ability to truly relive one of the most important events of your life.
My promise to you is that I'll approach your wedding photography with intention and care - to get to the heart of what makes you two and your day special.
I want you to enjoy your day, knowing that you'll have a photographer that's rich with passion and that you'll end up with bold, vibrant, and dynamic images of your wedding.
With peace of mind - you are free to have the wedding that you've been dreaming up!

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY PASSION
still working on my 8-foot vertical leap
I absolutely love weddings. The fact that some of the most amazing couples ever choose me to shoot their wedding day makes me immensely excited to get up and do what I do - day after day.
I live just outside of St. Louis, Missouri with my wife, Rebecca, my two dogs, Sage and Glacier, and about 150 house plants.
LIGHTNING ROUND: I love Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and anything space-themed. I love breakfast-based foods (mainly burritos). I think peanut butter must be spread with a knife, and jelly with a spoon. If you use a knife in jelly, we may have to talk (it cuts up the jelly and makes it hard to get out)!
I'm pretty terrible at basketball, and really terrible at soccer.
My amazing wife, Rebecca
Gotta get the dogs in there!

HOW I APPROACH WEDDINGS
I'm enamored by photography. All of it! Not just landscapes or architecture, but wildlife and people and everything in between. Photography restored in me a child-like wonder with the surrounding world, and I'm amazed by the stories one image can tell.
- Love is more than a kiss. Your wedding photos should follow suit. -
I approach photography by balancing and combining two different styles. The first is to capture images that immediately take the viewer back to that moment: Where the feeling, emotion, and story are abundantly clear. The second is to create images that aren't so self-explanatory. Pictures with mystery, tone, and imagination to them.
Weddings are a setting where I can do both while you're in the middle of one of the best days of your life, surrounded by the people you love most.
